Fort Builder Studio Event
« on: May 27, 2012, 07:10:25 PM »

Fort Builder has been added to the GC Studios:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aevJtCXqq8A

  • Via the GUI controls blocks can automatically be placed both vertically and horizontally across the center, or cleared.
  • Blocks appear to crack as they are exploded, as opposed to using a hearts display like before.
  • Temporary Bomb and Bow weapons are allocated within this level.
  • There is the option to assign colour team tags. Leaving the level with a team tag will automatically reset it.
  • There are options to disable block laying, disable the damaging of blocks, or to enable Gravity movement.

There is the chat command - "/w WeaponName" aka "/w *Bomb", I just hadn't added a customisation for it yet.
The problem with the S + D method is that it's actually much slower when you have lots of weapons.

typing /w *Bomb* takes longer than just pressing  S + D and since theres not a lot of weapons yet you could just use the S + D method for the time being till you find another method for when you have a lot of weapons

I'm not implementing a capability that will soon become redundant.

Its too hard though switching weapons with a delay, implement something simple that will change weapons without delay giving a disadvantage

I made it so inventory appears instantly within competitive levels.
