I decided to make a little how-to for downloading the PC Client and going on GtA. It's a lot easier to just send someone this link than explain it over and over.Step One: Download the Graal Client. http://graalonline.com/playerworlds/downloads/ Step Two: Once the Graal Client is installed, open it and click Become a Member in the bottom left to register an account. (For information on how to obtain a community name, message me or Thor) Step Three: Log in. Underneath the server list, you'll see a search bar. type in "adv" and you'll log in to Graal The Adventure!FAQ
What is Graal The Adventure? Graal The Adventure is the original Graal Classic server.
When/What are events? Graal The Adventure has a very large collection of events, which are hosted by Game Coordinators. If there are enough players online, you can ask a staff member to host! You can also host some events yourself (for no GC Tickets) in GC Studios.
Who's the Manager? GtA's manager is Thor (ffcmike).
Where are the quests? When you first log into Graal The Adventure, you'll start the first quest. Make sure you pay attention to what the NPCs say and read your Notebook, this is not Skyrim, it won't hold your hand.
Howdy folks. I'd like to sit down and make some hats for GtA this weekend. All I need is your input! Post any and all hat ideas in this thread. This could be redos of current hats, or OC. Thanks!
I've done a couple hat redos for GtA, and I'm working on more hat redos as well as OC right now. Would it be at all possible to set up a "Hat Shop" that just displays the hats that I made specifically for GtA, and provides the codes/puts them on upon touching them? I was originally intending to do something like this in my house when playerhouses were released but I'm not sure when that will be.
Here's a spitball idea: we should have an art gallery. Graphics Artists can make "paintings" on a premade frame, and they can be hung up in the art gallery on display. Similar to the library, it's a good way to add some minor player contributions to the server. Just a random thought.
I'm going to be making one or two new LMS levels. Post suggestions in this thread. Examples: Jungle LMS, Graal City LMS, etc... So far the ideas I've come up with are:
Bowser's Castle LMS (Would have to be named differently, but it'll be a castle level loosely based on the end room of Bowser's castle with the bridge over the lava.)
To add a bit of spice to the community, Rommiel and Ventrue have decided to renew their rivalry. Why can't we just have a little bit of quality control on graphics? When there's no quality control, we end up with stuff like this...
And no one wears them anyway, all they're doing is taking up space and being an eyesore in the graphics viewer. We should clean up the currently existing GFX, and start imposing quality control.
There's no doubt in my mind that somewhere out there, there's a skilled scripter who would do work for Classic without assurance of the server's future. We can add things like baddies & useless stats, (http://classicgraal.net/forums/index.php?topic=168.0) maybe make new events, and other stuff. So let's hire a scripter. If one of the devs is willing to help someone know how Classic's scripts work, it would be incredibly beneficial to the server.
Any particular reason there's no chat bubble that shows up when you're typing? Not that I really mind, it's something you kind of get used to after a while, but is there a reason that there's no chat bubble?
