This is an example of a level that is technically very well done, but isn't visually appealing due to the limitations of the default tileset.

If I were a talented GFX artist, I would create mossy and/or cracked tiles for the castle walls to give the level more texture, and tiles to better transition between the damaged/eroded parts of the walls and floor.

Personal preference would have me change the caves. I don't like the tiles, and I feel like a better looking cave can be made with outside cliffs, and a seteffect.

With that being said, I found a few levels that might inspire you in terms of cave design, and maybe castle design. Just grabbed a few screenshots from the forum, not all of them are from me.

Besides Graal I play Overwatch pretty much exclusively nowadays.

I did try the Battlefield demo, which I enjoyed quite a bit. I doubt I'll buy it though, as I think once the novelty of a new game wears off I feel like I'll get sick of it pretty quickly.

Oh and I'm playing through FFVI again on an emulator.

I've been flirting with the idea of buying FFXIV, but I find MMORPGs like that pretty intimidating.

I am looking forward to Mass Effect Andromeda, Final Fantasy XV, and the Skyrim remaster (on console). Those will likely be the next games I play.

I was trying to think of a way to have a single guild fort for the entire server, something predefined but the NPCs inside might change depending on the guild who owned the fort at the time. The NPCs would wear the guild tag, and either wear the guild colors, or even draw their appearance off members of the guild.

I don't know how to create something like this without it being MoD fort itself, or only changing for the team that held MoD fort that month. Maybe you can auction it off for guild points?

I originally envisioned this as an option for Fort Builder. I was thinking of making Plinko style levels where a person from the top of the level would drop bombs down onto players below. When a player below was killed, they would get the option to go on top and help rain bombs.

It might just be that this deserves an event of it's own with a custom bomb.

I wouldn't think so, unless we wanted bombs to behave exactly like people. I think just having them fall when they're place or when they land after they're thrown would be good enough, and that would be as simple as a wall check.

As a player and host, I sometimes feel like NPCs should be impacted by the gravity NPC the same way players are. A placed or thrown bomb should immediately drop if not supported by a blocking tile. Having the option to even toggle this during events could make stage building a lot more interesting.

I really like this idea. In my opinion the server needs more events that are not mindless PKing. There needs to be a little variation.

If it was possible to sort by primary image color, that would be huge. But I suspect Graal can't access that kind of information from an image.

That would be pretty decent. I was going through my shields directory the other day looking for anything with suitcase in it. It would be great to have that ability in game.

I like guild cards or identification that you can present to other players. Like how the 300 club trophy behaved IIRC. It would show your name, guild rank, guild banner (if you have one).

I'd help with images.
Then we're all set. Come on Thor!

Here is my last mock-up. The crate in the center would hold the swordfish, the pipes would allow for quick transit around the level. As for the level itself, I was inspired by the interior section of the Pacman maze, and would likely continue to style my level after it. Maybe add some environmental hazards as well, like seaweed, or sharp coral.
