I'd really like to see these forums get a lot more active. We should encourage everyone to register, read posts, and post their own threads on here.
We have a community now. We're averaging at 18-30 at any given time. Having an active forum would only strengthen the community that we've built. I do think there needs to be some boards added though.

Classic Main Forum / Tournament Day

I posted something like this awhile ago about a spar tournament: http://classicgraal.net/forums/index.php?topic=210.0

And I think we could expand on it a little more. We should have a Tournament Day. Advertise it a lot, get a good amount of players on at a set time, form a bracket, and make it publicly spectated. Maybe even video it and put it on the Graal Classic YouTube. Some possible tournaments could be:

• Sparring Tournament: Probably the main attraction, apparently this has been prepared for a while so it shouldn't be an issue. Winner gets a unique title and a statue in a hall of fame.
• TCG Tournament:Use the GC Studios trading card tournament level and just make a very large bracket. The games are already scripted to be able to be watched, so that's no issue. Winner gets a unique title, a statue in the hall of fame, and 50-100 card points.
• Connect 4 Tournament: Very easily set up, provides an activity to those who aren't good at spar/TCG, and already able to be spectated.

I was thinking we could host some kind of big spar tournament on GtA. The winner gets a rank like (GtA Sparring Champion) or something of that nature, and maybe some kind of other prize. I'm certain if we had a set date and advertised it a bit we could get a lot of people on for it, both contestants and spectators. Thoughts?
