I'm trying to replicate the rising water from Link to the Past. How did you accomplish this Thor? Was it a combination of showpoly and changing the zoom (is that even possible?). Or did you create an image and stretch it?

Normal level editor is downloadable from the login server.

Doesn't work, and I've tried using FP4's patch posted on Graalians.

I'm looking for an older version of the level editor. I'm currently using Gonstruct but I need something with some scripting functionality (light effects, signs, NPCs, etc) as well as something that will allow me to take full screen screenshots.

Kamaeru said his v2.2 editor works, and directed me to a Reborn torrent as that is where he got his, but I'm not getting anywhere with that.

I held out a sliver of hope that the server would have been reopened one day, but after it was shut down completely I realized that there were a number of players who were working against it and Thor. I am a bit disappointed.

It looks like unixmad is trying to push you and the server off the platform. Do you think it is likely that Classic is ever relaunched? Are you even interested in pursuing a public release at this point? Or has unixmad killed your drive? It was your ability and vision that produced what we have thus far, so without you I don't see much of a future in the server.

I'm with Racil in regards to the server needing an overhaul to meet today's standards, but the foundation of the server (the economy, job system, Kingdom system, housing system, pet system, races, etc) are still pretty solid. It is the only other server I sunk significant time without holding a staff position there.

I think it is an ambitious project to take on. I'm not sure if Kamaeru is the right person to lead it, but if he can get past the idea that the server is perfection, it could turn out to be something really great.

My first thoughts were of Graal2001 when I first looked at the levels. To me I'd say heavy influence of early Classic combined with the Graal2001 flair. BUT I think a lot of LATs just fall into those categories while experimenting with tiles, I doubt it was intentional.

I would like to see "Apply to all" and "Select Area / Apply to selected" commands added to the GC tools. This would greatly speed up the setup for events like "Freeze Tag" or "Charge!". It could also speed up post-event cleanup. Really it would be a great tool in all situations.
