can u make it like s+d changes from bomb to arrow again like the old days? It's hard switching now with Q delay
There is the chat command - "/w WeaponName" aka "/w *Bomb", I just hadn't added a customisation for it yet.
The problem with the S + D method is that it's actually much slower when you have lots of weapons.

The Graal City Castle exterior has been renovated.
While this is a much larger change compared to all previous versions of the Castle outside, it still retains elements of them all in one way or another, while standing out as more unique.

  • Via the GUI controls blocks can automatically be placed both vertically and horizontally across the center, or cleared.
  • Blocks appear to crack as they are exploded, as opposed to using a hearts display like before.
  • Temporary Bomb and Bow weapons are allocated within this level.
  • There is the option to assign colour team tags. Leaving the level with a team tag will automatically reset it.
  • There are options to disable block laying, disable the damaging of blocks, or to enable Gravity movement.

Pot Race has now been added to the GC Studios. It may be a simple event which pretty much every server has had, but is likewise to the other studios events publicly hostable, also offering the point setting capability.

Updates and Announcements / Lasertag Studio Event
« on: May 19, 2012, 01:21:18 PM »
Having made a new version of Wizards and Warlocks as a team event, Lasertag has now been made as a publicly hostable studio event:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WLzvfUDlxsI

  • The controls are handled entirely through keyboard buttons, as opposed to a mouse. The arrow keys move the target cursor, A/grab key makes you walk towards the target, S/sword key shoots a laser towards the target, D/weapon key pulls the target back to your character for a quick turn.
  • The screen focus is set inbetween your character and target for a clear enough sight of both.
  • The laser colours match your nickname, so while they would be blue and red for Wizards and Warlocks, there's a wider array of colours for the single player version.
  • The event level itself has the option for both normal PK and one hit KO mode, as well as point setting.
  • With laser shooting now being incorporated into the main systems (which is also smoother and more consistant), it would be easy to add as a free for all PK level, perhaps within Ebon Hand.

Updates and Announcements / Team Spar Arena
« on: May 03, 2012, 03:43:15 PM »
A new arena for team sparring has been added within Supernicks.

  • Two teams must pick a side.
  • While the spar is stopped, healing is automatic upon entering the arena.
  • The first 2 players to enter are set as the challengers, who are unset by leaving or dying.
  • The first 2 challengers must say Start to begin the spar. Each sparrer (or the one remaining sparrer) must say Stop to end the spar.
  • Once started, any 3rd player that enters the arena containing 2 challengers shall be warped back to the relevant area, or shall otherwise be set as a challenger.
  • Display Options and Focus from normal sparring are retained.
  • Ratings + Win/Loss/Tie statistics are disabled within team spars.

Events / Monthly Spar Qualification
« on: April 26, 2012, 04:02:47 AM »
Similarly to the past, qualification spars are commenced between the first 2 players to reach a certain inside location. Due to the absence of basic alternative spar levels, as well as a larger map necessary to disperse them, a limit warp is instead placed at an automatic random location, which warps the first 2 players that reach it to a GC Arena. The locations consist of buildings all over the map, none of which are restricted by quest progress. A message containing the location is sent to the Chat Box whenever a qualification limit warp is created or closed.
The winner is warped to the waiting room, while the loser is warped back to the GC Studios.

The Monthly Spar arenas themself are now located within SuperNicks.
