General Graal Discussion / How to Access Graal The Adventure
« on: September 18, 2016, 06:30:39 PM »
I decided to make a little how-to for downloading the PC Client and going on GtA. It's a lot easier to just send someone this link than explain it over and over.
Step One: Download the Graal Client. http://graalonline.com/playerworlds/downloads/
Step Two: Once the Graal Client is installed, open it and click Become a Member in the bottom left to register an account. (For information on how to obtain a community name, message me or Thor)
Step Three: Log in. Underneath the server list, you'll see a search bar. type in "adv" and you'll log in to Graal The Adventure!
FAQ
  • What is Graal The Adventure? Graal The Adventure is the original Graal Classic server.
  • When/What are events? Graal The Adventure has a very large collection of events, which are hosted by Game Coordinators. If there are enough players online, you can ask a staff member to host! You can also host some events yourself (for no GC Tickets) in GC Studios.
  • Who's the Manager? GtA's manager is Thor (ffcmike).
  • Where are the quests? When you first log into Graal The Adventure, you'll start the first quest. Make sure you pay attention to what the NPCs say and read your Notebook, this is not Skyrim, it won't hold your hand. ;D

Howdy folks.
I'd like to sit down and make some hats for GtA this weekend. All I need is your input!
Post any and all hat ideas in this thread. This could be redos of current hats, or OC. Thanks!

I play Civ V, LoL, and FFXIV.

I'd like to play LoL, but last time I tried to install it, it crashed my PC and I gave up. Lol

Events / Re: TCG League

Alright guys, here's my initial proposal for the TCG League.  Let me know what you guys think or if anything is unclear.  Once we get the mechanics ironed out then we will begin! :D

TCG League

Players will go into a pool of 4-5 players each.  Each player will play against each player at least once, with the possibility for by-rounds.  Games will be scheduled weekly and the round's matches will be posted on the forums.  There is no set time for a match to be held, and scheduling the match between players is the responsibility of the players.  The players can play the match at any time that week, before the next round of matches begins.  In order for an event to be properly recorded, either a GC needs to be present, or both players need to post the same result on the forums.  If a player is a no-show for that week, then a win will be awarded to the player who makes contact with the GC.  If there is a scheduling conflict and the players cannot schedule a match between eachother, then the match will be recorded as a draw.  At the end of the "season" a tournament will be held and one player will be awarded the title of TCG Champion.

Sign me up.
If Thor would like to make use of the hall of fame, the winner of the season could receive the title and a statue.

What games do you play other than Graal?
I have a bunch of Steam games, but the ones I primarily play are:
  • Hitman Games
  • Mount and Blade Warband
  • Project Zomboid or Unturned
  • Elder Scrolls Games (Oblivion, Morrowwind)
And there's a few games that I only really play when I have someone to play them with, but I still enjoy them.
  • Garry's Mod
  • No More Room in Hell
  • Left 4 Dead 2

Bugs and Suggestions / Re: Art Gallery

Already planned a wing like this for the museum.
Idea was that people could make exhibits for it and every x number of days it would switch between different exhibits.

Coolio.
So by exhibits that could be paintings, statues, miscellaneous furniture, that kind of stuff?

Bugs and Suggestions / "Hat Shop"
« on: August 31, 2016, 06:43:17 PM »
I've done a couple hat redos for GtA, and I'm working on more hat redos as well as OC right now. Would it be at all possible to set up a "Hat Shop" that just displays the hats that I made specifically for GtA, and provides the codes/puts them on upon touching them? I was originally intending to do something like this in my house when playerhouses were released but I'm not sure when that will be.

Bugs and Suggestions / Art Gallery

Here's a spitball idea: we should have an art gallery. Graphics Artists can make "paintings" on a premade frame, and they can be hung up in the art gallery on display. Similar to the library, it's a good way to add some minor player contributions to the server. Just a random thought.

guild themed bat and rat forms

zorbi become flying fish, or just pathetic fish flopping around on land for each respective form
a custom gani weapon would be pretty interesting as long as certain quality control limitations were imposed.

For sure. A custom thrown weapon would be easy to set up.

Appears to be fixed now?

I'll have to see if I can safely update the forums as it's been several years now since the last upgrade.
If you're going to make changes to the forums, can you change the size of the fonts that are in quotes. I have a hard time reading them.

Yep
